The conference offers two days of education covering safety, wellness and environmental issues in the workplace. Over 40 vendors will be on hand to showcase products and services and we've added new features.

This year we are offering several sessions focused on wellness and its implementation in the workplace. A wellness program is one tool an employer can use to help with the rising costs of health care.

A NEW emergency care track is geared towards National Safety Council Emergency Care Instructors who teach first aid/CPR/AED in their company or community. Sessions will include changes to the 2010 guidelines for teaching first aid and CPR, an Automated External Defibrillation (AED) forum, and tips and techniques to spice up training.

The awards luncheon, attended by approximately 300 individuals, recognizes the efforts of companies and individuals in achieving safety excellence. Dignitaries from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, Nebraska Workforce Development and other governmental leaders attend the annual luncheon.
