Brown Transfer 911 E 11th St Topic:Federal Motor Carrier's Safety Administrations' CSA 2010 Safety Management System Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 (CSA 2010). What does it mean to you? Whether you're an independent carrier or part of a company fleet, if you have a DOT number, you will be affected by CSA 2010. CSA 2010 is an FMCSA initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and ultimately reduce commercial motor vehicle-related crashes, injuries and fatalities. Elyse Mueller will introduce this new enforcement and compliance model and Safety Measurement System (SMS) which will replace Safestat effective this fall. She will talk about what CSA 2010 is, how you will be scored through the SMS, how to monitor and improve your safety data and answer questions you have about the program.Speaker:Elyse Mueller, Nebraska Office of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
Elyse has been with the FMCSA for 20 years. She began her career in the Nebraska FMCSA Division office in Lincoln as a safety investigator and then became a Program Manager. Elyse became the State Director in 1999 and is currently the Nebraska Division Administrator. He holds a degree in Education from Kearney State College and has been with the Council for over 6 years. He has held various positions in manufacturing management for 15 years prior to coming to the Council. As Director, James coordinates open enrollment safety training, on-site and customized training and safety consulting.
