The NDEQ has made reissuing the Industrial Storm Water General Permit a priority. The new permit will place a greater emphasis on designing a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan which is site specific. Are you subject to storm water permit regulations? Do you have an SWPPP? Topic: Respirator Fit Testing
An estimated 5 million workers wear respirators in 1.3 million US workplaces to provide protection against various airborne hazards. Respiratory protection is critically dependent up on the fit of the respirator to the user's face; therefore, a fit test is required to assure that a given respirator fits each specific individual. In addition to a fit test demonstration, Mitch Sump will review the Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire required by OSHA and answer questions about respirator fit programs and record keeping.
