Knowing how to respond to a First Aid or CPR emergency is one of the most important skills a person can possess. You can be the means for delivering this critical message by becoming a First Aid, CPR and AED Instructor for your business and/or community. This course is up-to-date with the latest emergency care techniques and information. It is compliant with OSHA's guidelines and meets or exceeds their requirements.

During this course, you will learn new methods that involve, influence and facilitate adult learning while refining your teaching skills. This course covers a proven, standardized method of teaching First Aid, CPR and AED with high effectiveness. You will be provided with the reasons and dynamics behind each topic or visual presentation.

Upon successful completion, you will become certified to teach this course, and you will receive the complete instructor resource package, which includes: Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor resource material, a student manual, two Instructor DVDs, and the Instructor CD-ROM.

NOTE: The standard Instructor Development Course certifies you to teach the NSC Adult FA/CPR/AED curriculum and includes an Adult Instructor training kit.  Though the course materials touch on infant/child CPR, participants will be required to purchase a separate Pediatric Instructor Training Kit in order to teach pediatric classes.  Please inform the Council of your intentions to teach the pediatric curriculum at the time of registration.

Course Length: 2 Days - 16 Hours

Course Fee: $490 (Members $428)

Once you submit your information to NESC, we will follow up with an electronic certificate, reflecting proof of completion of the course, that you can use to submit to the organization applicable for the credit you are in need of.
