Updated 2018 2-day Hands-on Electrical Safety course is coming to Lincoln this fall! The improved course has a "learn by doing" approach, so throughout the two day course students will get the experience needed to bring their new skills back to the workplace with confidence.
Learn how the NFPA 70E standards apply to a facility, why safe electrical work practices are important, and what can be done to ensure your organization meets government standards for electrical safety. This 2-day course covers seven modules:
It focuses on protecting people and identifies requirements that are considered necessary to provide a workplace that is free of electrical hazards. This training meets the electrical safety training requirements for OSHA rule 1910:331-335.

About the Instructor Rick Simpson: Rick has been an NTT instructor since 2006 and as an IBEW Journeyman Wireman, works as a superintendent for local electrical companies and projects. From high and medium voltage switch gear, distribution electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and technical trouble shooting, Rick's knowledge and expertise from his extensive education and training makes him an in-demand instructor. Rick received overwhelming positive evaluations from this class here in 2017 and we are excited to have him back again in 2018!
